So happy that you stumbled upon Girl Meets Texas. Let me introduce myself. I am a twenty-something from Southern California, taking a leap of faith, following her dreams in beautiful Texas. I have been away from home for bits and pieces of my life, but now I have decided to take the next chapter and turn in into a lifestyle. I moved myself halfway across the country to attend graduate school at Texas Tech University to get my Master's Degree in social work. In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take. Step out of your comfort zone and see what LIFE has to offer you.
Some of my interests are: cooking, reading, fashion, health and wellness, music and the food network.
I also LOVE: planning my calendar, the beach, HGTV, the occasional reality show, HUGE hugs, my family, laughing till my tummy hurts, being a girly girl, best friends, road trips, elephants, movies, breakfast and surprises.
Most important is my faith in Jesus Christ.
I started this blog so my friends and family back home and in Nevada would be able to follow my highs and lows in becoming a Texan. This is a place you can follow a student with soul, creativity and passion in topics such as beauty, health and fitness, home decorating and just life in general. I hope you all love it!
